Description
The mission of Heritage Health is to deliver a healthcare experience that provides hope, inspires change and extends life for our patients and our community. We are a growing patient-centered practice who is looking for a full-time Counselor at our Family Support Services in Coeur d'Alene.


The Counselor work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health services for insured and uninsured. Provide direct therapeutic services to Heritage Health patients and maintain appropriate documentation.


Minimum eligibility and qualifications:

LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LAMFT; Master’s degree in human service field with post graduate experiences and clinical endorsement; working knowledge of Administrative procedure of a Federally funded community health center; computer skills necessary to maintain client charts and communication within the organization.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct therapeutic services.
  2. Maintain and audit counseling charts.
  3. Attend monthly Mental/Behavioral health meeting.
  4. Attend all staff, provider meetings, and other meetings as necessary.
  5. Compliance with documentation standards set by the state and federal guidelines.
  6. Assessment and diagnosis.
  7. Service note completion within 48 hours of contact.
  8. Knowledge and use of evidence-based best practice therapeutic models.
  9. Role modeling, organizational, communication and guest-relation skills.
  10. Willingness to attend and participate in off-site meetings and/or seminars.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
