The mission of Heritage Health is to deliver a healthcare experience that provides hope, inspires change and extends life for our patients and our community. We are a growing patient-centered practice who is looking for a full-time LCSW Office Manager in Coeur d'Alene.
 

The LCSW Office Manager is under general supervision of the VP of Program Operations, this position oversees all day to day operations of the Pain Management program. This includes but is not limited to leading the Pain Management team, interacting with Clinic and Program Directors implementing process and procedure, handling of patient complaints, providing regular reports to VP of Program Operations, and filling all front office duties and responsibilities. In addition, this position is responsible for counseling clients to help them gain access to various resources and helping clients to confront issues that are negatively affecting their way of living.

Minimum eligibility and qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in a human service field with post graduate experiences and clinical endorsement; current Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in the state of Idaho; and 3-5 years of relevant work experience required. Federally Qualified Health Center experience preferred. Experience working with a pain management patient population preferred.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinates all activities at the clinic ensuring compliance and optimal operations.
  2. Manages daily administrative operations of the front office including establishing work priorities and helping to resolve problems related to the day-to-day operations of the program and general office reception duties as needed.
  3. Greet/direct patients and visitors, provide positive customer service and basic case management as needed.
  4. Learn community and collaborating agency resources, become familiar with resource manual and provide resource information to clients.
  5. Perform intake interviews for clients seeking services.
  6. Assist clients in completing new patient packets and other applications as needed.
  7. Maintain order and cleanliness of the office.
  8. Maintain up to date client information including information cards, and other handout materials.
  9. Monitors daily program processes including weekly reporting, observation, and patient feedback
  10. Schedules appointments as needed for new and established patients using electronic practice management system.
  11. Assist with special projects such as surveys, mailings, and others as assigned.
  12. Answers phone calls. Take accurate messages, and delivers promptly to staff.
  13. Regular attendance at staff meetings.
  14. Compliance with confidentiality policy as it applies to protection of clients’ rights
  15. Communicating with all members of the team.
  16. Understanding and adherence to all Heritage Health Policies and Procedures.
  17. Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
  18. Provide psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and problems related to their diagnosis, illness, treatment, and/or life situation.
  19. Formulate, develop, and implement a comprehensive psychosocial treatment plan utilizing appropriate clinical social work treatments and interventions. Interventions may include crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family and/or group therapies.
  20. Assist with screening, identification, diagnosis, management, and treatment of mental health and/or substance abuse problems in patients and family members.
  21. Provide education to patients and families around issues related to adaptation to the patient's diagnosis, illness, treatment and/or life situation.
  22. Maintain and audit counseling charts
  23. Other duties as assigned.
